Institutional ExpectationsJETS College is a values-based educational institution committed to academic discipline, ethical conduct, and communal responsibility. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with institutional policies, applicable law, and the standards of personal responsibility central to the institution’s mission.Enrollment at JETS constitutes agreement to abide by the Code of Conduct and all policies outlined in the Student Handbook and
Enrollment Agreement.
Standards of Student ConductStudents are expected to:• Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all academic work
• Comply with institutional policies and procedures
• Maintain respectful conduct toward faculty, staff, and fellow students
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
• Protect institutional property and facilities
• Adhere to safety policies and campus procedures
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local lawsAcademic dishonesty, including plagiarism, falsification of records, cheating, or misrepresentation of work, is prohibited.
Behavioral ExpectationsStudents are expected to:• Maintain professional conduct in classrooms, workshops, and campus facilities
• Follow attendance and participation requirements
• Comply with campus safety and security procedures
• Use institutional resources responsibly
• Respect the religious character and mission of the institutionJETS reserves the right to take disciplinary action when conduct materially disrupts instruction, threatens safety, or violates institutional policy.
Substance Use and Legal ComplianceStudents must comply with all applicable laws regarding controlled substances.The possession, use, or distribution of illegal drugs on institutional property or during institutional activities is prohibited.The institution may take disciplinary action in response to violations of law or institutional policy.
Disciplinary ProcessDisciplinary actions may include, but are not limited to:• Verbal or written warning
• Probation
• Suspension
• DismissalDisciplinary decisions are made in accordance with institutional procedures designed to ensure fairness and consistency.
Student Grievance RightsStudents have the right to raise concerns regarding institutional matters through established grievance procedures.Information regarding formal complaint procedures is available in the Student Handbook and on the Student Services page of this website.
Religious and Community StandardsAs a faith-based institution, JETS integrates Judaic values into campus life. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the institution’s religious mission while enrolled.Participation in religious programming and adherence to campus expectations are outlined in the Student Handbook and related policies.
Statement of LimitationJETS College reserves the right to amend institutional policies as necessary to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and institutional standards.Nothing in this Code of Conduct creates a contractual guarantee beyond the terms outlined in the Enrollment Agreement.
