Tuition & Pay‑It‑Forward
No boy should have to leave JETS over money. That is why help with tuition here is not ordinary financial aid. It is the Pay-It-Forward Program: the fund covers part of a student's tuition today, and years from now, once he has graduated and is earning a living, he gives his maaser back so the next family gets the same chance.
While he is at JETS, and for as long as he is not yet earning a living, there is nothing to repay. No monthly bill, no interest, no clock running. Pay-It-Forward is not a gift and it is not charity. It is a real commitment a student makes in writing, and we think that is exactly what makes it something to be proud of. Every award is decided case by case by our tuition committee.
