Rabbi Y. Boruch Sufrin

Rabbi Y. Boruch Sufrin is a veteran nationally recognized educator and visionary leader. He is an internationally respected consultant with more than four decades of experience in Jewish education and communal leadership. Rabbi Sufrin previously served as Head of School at Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy and Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy, where his schools earned distinction for educational excellence and innovation, including recognition by Apple Inc. as a Distinguished Apple Program School. He is the recipient of the prestigious Covenant Foundation Educator Award, one of the highest honors in Jewish education.

In addition to his role at JETS, Rabbi Sufrin serves as the Senior Rabbi of Young Sephardic Community Center (YSCC), is the author of Parenting and Parasha, and has written numerous professional and Torah-based articles. Through RYBS LLC, he advises schools and educational organizations throughout the United States and Latin America in the areas of leadership, governance, strategy, and school growth. Rabbi Sufrin brings to JETS a blend of wisdom, warmth, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to helping every student discover his path to success.

Matthew B. Hintze

Chief Academic Officer (CAO)
Provost of Professional Studies

Professor Matthew Hintze serves as Chief Academic Officer at JETS College and leads the development of the institution’s Professional Studies curriculum. He holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA (Cum Laude), an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida (4.0 GPA), and completed doctoral coursework toward a Ph.D. in Finance (A.B.D.) at the University of Florida, where he was awarded the Marshall Criser Presidential Fellowship.

Professor Hintze previously served as Adjunct Faculty in the University of Florida’s Department of Finance, Insurance, and Real Estate, teaching courses in financial management, venture capital, and entrepreneurship. He has extensive experience in curriculum development, online learning design, and instructional innovation.

In addition to his academic background, Professor Hintze is an entrepreneur and real estate developer with decades of experience in finance, investment analysis, project management, and organizational leadership. He has founded and scaled multiple education focused ventures and has served in executive leadership roles across both educational and private sector organizations.

At JETS, his instructional focus includes financial literacy, entrepreneurship, accounting fundamentals, real estate development, and applied business strategy. His teaching emphasizes disciplined thinking, economic responsibility, and practical decision-making aligned with long-term personal and communal responsibility.
