For the Advanced Student of Chassidic Thought

Advanced Chassidut

Students develop conceptual precision, intellectual rigor, and the ability to trace complex theological systems.

Program Overview

This advanced course focuses on in-depth study of Derech Mitzvosecha, Rana”t, Samech Vav, Ayin Beis, and selected maamarim aligned with the annual Chassidic calendar cycle. Students engage extended discourses that present systematic metaphysical frameworks and sophisticated spiritual psychology.

The curriculum emphasizes deep conceptual unpacking: seder hishtalshelut, ratzo v’shov, ohr and keilim, atzmut and giluy, avodah through bitul, and the cosmic purpose of mitzvot. Students analyze how these systems interconnect and how they frame the Chassidic understanding of creation, redemption, and Divine service.

Learning includes close textual analysis, comparative examination of parallel maamarim, and development of independent explanatory ability.
